Hi~ i'm Choi ji~!๐
I recently finished PADI Level 2, and now I’m training for Level 3 — the stage where
breath-holding, equalization, and mental calmness all level up together. It’s tough but
surprisingly addictive. Every dive feels like unlocking a new skill in real life. ๐ฎ๐ซ

๐ง♂️ Static Apnea Progress: Small Changes, Big Results
Static apnea used to be my worst enemy. I couldn’t relax, and my brain kept yelling,
“We need air NOW!” ๐ต
But after practicing real relaxation (not pretending), my breath-hold jumped from 2:30 → 3:30.
Turns out the secret isn’t strength or lung size — it’s letting go.
The more I relax, the longer my body is willing to stay calm.
๐♂️ First 24m Dive… on the First Try?!
I train in Busan at Bukhang Marina, where there’s a 24-meter freediving pool.

| (It was my first time here..!) |
On my first attempt, I somehow reached the bottom and came back up safely. No panic,
no rush. Just calm sinking and rising like a human sea cucumber. ๐ฅ๐๐
I realized something important:
Deep dives aren’t about bravery.
They’re about not caring too much and just relaxing.
Of course, taking a full inhale on the final breath helps a lot.
More air = more confidence + more time.
๐จ Next Challenge: Rescue Skills
In the next session, we start training rescue techniques — how to save a diver who blacks out or panics underwater.
I’m actually super excited for it.
Being able to dive deep is cool…
But being able to save someone is on a different level. ๐✨

๐ฏ Goal: Master Freediver Life
Right now, I’m slowly but steadily working toward becoming a Freediving Master.
Not just to go deeper, but to understand the ocean from inside — not only from the surface when fishing.
One day, if I drop gear into the sea again…
I’ll just swim down and pick it up myself. ๐ธ๐คฟ๐
